ACAT's Midtown Garden Depot (2930 Cheechako Street)
Open 7 days a week, this sharing economy accepts plastic plant pots and other gardening related equipment. Drop stuff off or pick stuff up.

Denetchin Lab:
Don’t let your plastic end up in a landfill—bring it to CITC’s Denełchin Fab Lab! You can support our recycling project by bringing your washed #2 and #5 plastics to our facility at 7710 Grass Creek Rd (same building as Krispy Kreme) Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Examples of items we will take include milk jugs, shampoo and detergent bottles, yogurt cups, bottle caps and more. Plastic that is dirty or is the wrong type can contaminate a batch of recycling and be harmful to the equipment or its operators. Please be mindful by cleaning out all residue and checking the recycling code before donating.

Policy and Local Ordinances

"Skip the Stuff” - Building off of by-request-only bills that have already passed in two states and in cities across the country, Beyond Plastics released the next generation of “Skip the Stuff” which makes only non-plastic (and non-bioplastic) foodware accessories available upon customer request. Making accessories for takeout opt-in versus opt-out, drives down the demand for single-use items, saves businesses money, and promotes waste consciousness.
This bill can be used at the local level (town, city, county, borough) or state level. - https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5eda91260bbb7e7a4bf528d8/t/64779e1ccc7e8f0080e258da/1685560860661/SkiptheStuff%28STS%29ModelBill.pdf
