Veteran investigative journalist Carey Gillam talks about her recent book Whitewash: The Story of a Weed Killer, Cancer, and the Corruption of Science. In her award-winning book, Gillam exposes how Monsanto “whitewashed” the scientific data on the herbicide glyphosate (a key ingredient in Round Up) to validate its safety. Carey discusses how she uncovered a plethora of evidence recovered from corporate and government resources showing the harm of glyphosate on public health and the environment and revealing corporate influence on government agencies.
