You can sign up here.

Rachel Carson’s “Silent Spring,” an exposé of the link between toxic pesticide DDT and the decline in songbird populations and other environmental harms, is widely regarded as the impetus for the rise of the global environmental movement.

Please join us for a Zoom event with Alaskan and international speakers celebrating Rachel’s birthday, her indomitable spirit, and the environmental justice heroines and heroes who are following in her footsteps.

The celebration will start at 9 AM Alaska time on Wednesday, May 27 and last for an hour.
