Children are more vulnerable to environmental health hazards than adults. They may be exposed in utero and throughout their development with potentially long-term harm to their health. Nsedu Obot Witherspoon, Executive Director of the Children’s Environmental Health Network (CEHN) discusses children’s vulnerabilities, the need for protection, and initiatives to protect children’s environmental health.
